GeneenGeneen Georgiev
Geneen is a classically trained dance teacher who has expanded her knowledge in a variety of dance mediums. She is known to fill classes and keep regular students. She works to inspire others and to relay the knowledge that has been passed down to her. Geneen teaches an energetic class where her students will learn to understand the purpose of their movements and walk out of class feeling inspired and enlightened. Geneen instructed through out British Columbia for many years before she extended her dance training worldwide. Internationally acclaimed studios in England, Australia, Japan and the United States is where she has absorbed a diverse repertoire of styles that she now uses on a daily bases. She has performed in many venues all over the lower main land as well as in several shows over seas. Geneen is currently a working dancer herself, and she encourages all her students to follow by example as she keeps her style and knowledge up to date within the dance industry.

JojoJojo Zolina
An extraordinarily eclectic freestyle dancer and choreographer, Jojo the 'Kinetic Philosopher', is greatly respected for his work in the dance community worldwide. Jojo is not only esteemed for his eye-popping movement, but also the love and passion he puts into every aspect of his career. Jojo keeps his audiences mesmerized as he dances from his heart and soul.

Jojo's extensive dance career has allowed him to express his creativity through a great variety of genres. He melds a diverse fusion of dance styles like traditional ethnic folk dance, hip hop, funk styles, vogueing, wacking, house, reggaeton, dancehall, contemporary and salsa. Jojo has been a phenomenal collaborator with local talent and well-known international choreographers like Poppin Pete, Caleaf, Moncell, Ken Swift, Marjory, and more.

His resume includes performances with such musical talents as Nelly Furtado, K-OS, Jordan Knight, Dogg Pound and The Roots. Jojo Zolina’s versatility has put him in high demand as a performer and choreographer.


Josh Beamish - Modern Faculty
Josh Beamish began dancing at the age of 3 in Edmonton, Alberta, but received his formal training in Kelowna, BC aided by scholarships to Randolph Academy of the Performing Arts, Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Arts Umbrella, Monsters of Hip Hop, Harbour Dance Centre, Triple Threat Dance Convention, and Groove Street Productions. Upon moving to Vancouver, Josh continued his ballet training in the half-day professional program with Li Yaming at Pacific DanceArts, while also dancing and choreographing for The Source Dance Company, directed by Joanne Pesusich. Josh was recently the assistant choreographer to Paul Becker for the Nicholas Cage film “The Wicker Man”, and the Dance Captain on VH1’s “Totally Awesome”. Josh is also the Director of the Move Dance Project; a dance convention dedicated to the education of emerging dancers throughout Western Canada. Some of his selected dance/choreography credits for film include Life As We Know It, starring Kelly Osbourne, The Cleaner, starring Cedric the Entertainer, Divine Waters for Bravo FACT! and Perceptions for Blue Finn Productions. He has also recently danced for Vancouver-based choreographers Simone Orlando and Amber Funk-Barton. Josh’s work has been presented by Judith Marcuse Projects in The Earth(Ling) Festival, Dancing On The Edge 2007, MovEnt’s Dances For A Small Stage 12, Dance Saskatchewan’s Jump: Dare To Dance, New Work’s Dance Allsorts, ArtStarts In Schools and in both the 2006 and 2007 Vancouver International Dance Festivals. Josh is currently the founder/Artistic Director of MOVE: the company, a professional contemporary dance company based in Vancouver. His upcoming projects include his new full-length work for MOVE, “Trap Door Party”, and a new commission for Ballet Kelowna.
